It intends to help students get the most out of their study. It does not replace the Sydney College of Divinity academic rules and regulations, and policies and procedures. It is the sole responsibility of the student to be current on SCD policies and procedures, and meet all the requirements of the academic program.

Thesis is a long-term task which requires a concentrated effort over a long period of time. Associate Professor Peter Bolt notes that writing a thesis requires thinking like a long distance runner rather than a sprinter. In this short presentation he speaks from experience and observation, sharing important insights to help candidates find a balanced approach to life while writing their thesis.
