A research degree is a postgraduate degree completed by research. Only the Doctor of Ministry has a 20% coursework component, all the other research degrees offered by the School is completed by research alone. Candidates graduate with either a Master or Doctoral degree award.
Higher Degree by Research provides a unique opportunity to focus on an area of interest and make an important contribution to the development of one’s chosen area. The research and work involved is largely undertaken independently and the study is supervised by at least two supervisors.
