Professor M Isabell Naumann has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Systematic Theology, particularly in the area of ecclesiology at the Catholic Institute of Sydney since 2005. She is the first woman to hold the position of President of the Institute, established in 1954. She is a member of the Secular Institute of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary (a member institute of the International Schoenstatt Movement). She is also a member of the Pontifical Council for Culture in Rome, having been first appointed to the Council by Pope Benedict XVI in 2008 and reappointed by Pope Francis in 2014.
