Assoc Prof Daniel Fanous teaches Theology and New Testament at St Cyril‘s Coptic Orthodox Theological College. He has extensively studied and taught New Testament, as well as holding degrees in medicine, engineering, and theology. He is a well-known speaker, and has written several books in biblical scholarship including The Person of the Christ, Taught By God: Making Sense of the Difficult Sayings of Jesus, and most recently a scholarly biography, A Silent Patriarch – Kyrillos VI (1902-1971): Life and Legacy.
Father Daniel is also a parish priest of St Peter & Paul‘s in Wollongong, and St Luke‘s in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney, Australia.
