October 2020 Research Writers Workshop
Second Workshop
This is the final Research Writers Workshop for 2020. The Workshop is open to Sydney College of Divinity and Australian College of Theology faculty members with equal participation from both. Each workshop can involve up to eight participants. Participation will be on the basis of submitted research proposals (500 words).
Interested applicants are required to submit an online application with a research proposal of no more than 500 words by Thursday, 15 October 2020. The research proposal should outline the idea the participant would like to work on and the approach the individual will take. Participation will be on the basis of your research proposal and you will be informed of the decision by Monday, 19 October 2020. If the workshop is oversubscribed candidates will be chosen on a selective basis, to be decided by the ACT and SCD Research Offices.
The workshop offers faculty members the opportunity to turn their good ideas into publishable outputs targeting quality international journals. Participants are mentored by internationally recognised scholars who will assist in building up ideas, shaping them into a research paper, and submitting this paper to a quality journal.
It was intended to be a residential workshop, however with the ongoing pandemic, this could be an online workshop. Cost of participation is nil.
