Christmas Greetings

Warm greetings to all our friends and followers as we pause at Christmas, reflecting on what we have learnt from the past year and looking forward to engaging with the opportunities and challenges of the year ahead.

Just as this year has seen an exceptional run of changes on the Australian political scene, so the Australian higher education sector has experienced a series of actual and predicted developments that will inevitably involve significant shifts in both deskwork and strategic direction for SCD.

I would like to say a big ‘thank-you’ to all my colleagues in the Office of the Dean and the wider SCD community and its friends for their collegiality and support in so many ways, making ‘Team SCD’ a reality in whose vision and progress we can all share.

Whoever you are reading this, may you know the true peace and joy of Christmas and the presence of Christ with you through the coming year, to lead you on and empower you by the Holy Spirit to be a force for true good in the world around us.
